At the time I thought it was a really decent appointment.

The Bristol City team were a bit unfancied but they made the playoffs which kind of suggests they over achieved.

There were zero signs of fitness issues or fading.

Yet he came here and things clearly changed.

I'm not going to get into the personal stuff but we have seen from his next appointment something changed in him as person.

Thats why I think the appointment was solid but the timing was horrendous.
