the club will respond.

it's their responsibility to deal with any form of anti-social behaviour in the stadium or discrimination in all its forms be it; racism, sexism, homophobia or transphobia.

they will sometimes put a member of staff in a nearby seat over the next few games to observe and make sure it's not just "one side of events". if needed they will build an evidence based case against the person and if warranted act accordingly.

if you feel that discrimination is taking place a person is engaged in anti-sicial behaviour then it is your responsibility to call it out by reporting it. best way to do this is not direct confrontation but to reporting it and let the club address it. they have people trained to do so and procedures in place to resolve it.

you shouldn't have to put up with that crap week in week out.
