norfolk in a possible northern lights "could happen" zone tonight
auroras are most likely: 10:30 pm – 2:30 am (peak geomagnetic hours).
try:
rural fields south of norwich looking north away from city light pollution.
coast-facing locations (north norfolk coast is excellent)
Turn off lights and let eyes adjust for around 15 minutes
Phones often see aurora before your eyes do, try night mode photos.
Often strongest around midnight–1 am
You may see:
faint grey/green glow
pale pink streaks
moving haze on horizon
bright "dancing curtains" are less likely this far south unless activity spikes again.
