why does almost everyone write using single sentence "paragraphs"?
it's just lazy and really does massively get on my tits.
as a reader it seems to me as if the writer is metaphorically jabbing me in the chest with one finger.
is the era of the elegant and deliberate well structured classic paragraph just a distant memory?
has the human attention span deteriorated into managing only short bursts of staccato information/soundbites?
is the age of rich coherent writing dead and we interact with each other in the written word like we are all social media platforms?
has there been a pedagogical shift toward schools teaching paragraph writing less rigidly now, sometimes emphasizing bullet points, summarisation, or multimedia integration?
is the world of essays, books, rich long form journalism, research papers and literature literally going to die off?
is this just a mere bus stop along the route of human interaction whereby we eventually revert back to communicating with each other by a system of grunts?
sort it out knapper ffs.
