Not my favourite manager but

Ron Saunders has to be one of City's best ever. Took a club who had finished around lower mid table in Div2 for around 10 years & prior to that had been Div 3 most of its existence & he dragged them into the top flight. Its whst set up everything that followed. Football was pretty dire but it was exciting times
