I suppose the main difference is that Buendia, Cantwell, Wes wanted to leave, but didn't say they weren't available to play. That seems to be the modern twist.

All a bit tedious though and detracted from what was a good day for the players who did put in a stint on the pitch (obviously condolences to the family of the supporter who didn't make it home)
