for how he has handled this.
While probably being honest he has escalated the situation rather than de-escalated.
Have to wonder if he had the OK from Knapper to say what he did?
By doing this he has made it difficult for all parties to come back together.
If his goal is to keep Sarge, this might not have been the best way forward.

Surely that puts the club in a weaker position if we want to get top dollar for a player that everyone now knows has downed tools.
That doesn't make him more attractive to other clubs.

There is a reason most clubs tend to keep this stuff on the down low until the player demands a transfer with an official transfer request.
