Sarge said he wasn't available because he wasn't in the right frame of mind. And if anything, I'd wager that PC had paraphrased it more bluntly than Sarge put in the text (but I could be wrong).

I'm not convinced that Sarge wouldn't put a shift in for the rest of the season if we keep him. And there is zero chance we sign someone better or as good in this window.
