Looking at responses below, I wonder what kind of school you went to? I had to take

part in the following during my school years, and probably more I've forgotten. Some were fun and some were just horrible / boring.

Cricket
Football
Rugby
Rounders
Athletics (all variants of track and field)
Tennis
Basketball
Gymnastics
Hockey
Swimming
Badminton
Table tennis (which I would have liked but the bats were always s**t)

I am surprised they didn't get us doing Kabbadi and Aussie Rules to be honest. I was alright, not brilliant, and enjoyed some more than others but for some kids it must have been an hour or two a week of absolute hell.
