The issue with data driven analysis.....

virtually everyone has the same public data.

Why are clubs with more money than us passing on a player....could be baggage such as injuries or could be their superior analysis of the strength of the league they are playing in tells them their stats are overblown.... so pass....

You only get an edge if you can do your own analysis and look at things that are not publicly available.

Thats how Sports betting syndicates get an edge.
