The vast majority of the players that Worthington has signed

have gone again. How many have gone for more than he paid for them? Ashton. And..........? Surely there must be others?

I am with Roger Munby on this - the vast majority of transfers turn out poorly - so why do we indulge the manager in incessant transfer activity? Why not make him adhere to the club's policy of "stability and continuity"?
