yeah, it's a fair point.

as I see it there's three possibilities.

(1) Worthy makes some crap signings

(2) Worthy makes no signings

(3) Worthy makes some good signings

you're saying (3) is so unlikely that it's really between (1) and (2). Clearly we'd all prefer (2) in that case. Guess some people are still sufficiently optimistic (without much reason) to place some likelihood on (3).
