Bit of a marathon and retirement hangover I’m afraid

Done some park runs and a couple of 10k races and also the Big Half as well which I ran ok but was handicapped by a Saturday night out!! Ealing Half on 28th which I may pass on as my right knee is feeling it – but I have Peterborough mid-October with a few old work colleagues which I’m looking forward to.

Been golfing quite a bit and will be a single figure handicapper very soon.( now 10.1). In other golfing news Gemma won back the Ladies County Championship a couple of months ago and our club, Stanmore, are county club champions as well – a very nervous finish on finals weekend and we snuck over the line thanks to our No2 player Laura. I was on the bag with Gemma and Mrs KC was there supporting as always.
