There is a resurgence of nationalism across western societies. Trump and the MAGA movement

is an obvious example but he wasn't the first and won't be the last. Reform in the UK, and to a lesser extent the Tories, make no secret of following his playbook. I read recently Reform are now using the "Drill Baby Drill" slogan. These soundbites play well to people who want simple solutions to what are complex global issues.
