the Hundred is an amazing day out with cricket where every ball really does matter. Two games in a day, entertainment between games and it is amazing the number of kids and women who attend. With so little cricket on free to air TV these attendees and the exposure on BBC is building a bedrock of fans for the future.

And let's not mention the £28 million that each county has so far received after the huge investments made by (mostly Indian) investors. The money will mean that no county should be carrying debt and those that are already debt free will be spending money on infrastructer etc.
