Why go abroad if you can make as much money at home?

To further yourself as a player, understand different styles of play, prove you can perform somewhere other than your country of birth?

But if a lot of our players are money driven, then they wouldn't bother with that.

I wish some of our players would up sticks and play in Serie A / La Liga / Bundesliga for a year, I think our national side would benefit no end.
