How many Italians, Spaniards etc play abroad? Grand total of no Italians and 5 Spaniards (3 of whom play for a Spanish manager).

Some do but the majority don't. The clubs are rich enough that there isn't a need to seek money abroad. That's what's happening in the Prem. Why go abroad if you can make as much money at home?
