Also, about 50 p.c. of the middle aged and elderly cannot be arsed to vote anyway. Seriously, if you don't vote in two consecutive elections you should lose the right. Or let's go with the Aus version - compulsory!

If we want youngsters to be engaged with politics then we need to give them a reason to take interest.
