...could be up to six months until they connect you to their service, although you get the phoneline in straight away. Eighteen month contract once you've signed up too.

We've just signed up to Telewest in our flat - 2Mb broadband (uncapped downloads too - one of the few companies to do that), telephone and television (basic package which is roughly Freeview but also includes Sky One, UKTV Gold). Works out as ?30 a month over twelve month contract.
