Compare that to his predecessors. And the end of the day England doesn't produce players with the natural skill of, say Brazil, so it's hard for us to play "pretty" football. Sir Alf's teams were deadly dull - he's a hero because of results not performances. If we win every game with a rubbish 1-0 like Saturday Sven will be a hero too.
