I think it's bollocks spin-doctoring. If Walcott had begun warming up, you can bet your bottom dollar that every English commentator would have gone into knicker-wetting overdrive 2.76 seconds after he'd left the bench and started jogging. Did we hear a murmur of it during the game? No we did not. It didn't happen and this is all spin to take the heat off Sven.
