Beneath all that, lies the very cracks that everyone knows though

I apologise if this wasn't the right time to unpaper them

England are venturing into a world cup with a midfield that doesn't defend. That has to be the most questionable aspect of their success

As Norwich fans, we know everything about not having a midfield

In Englands friendlies recently, they have been put under enough pressure to serve a test. The only one where they were was Belarus, and they didn't handle it all to well but with good reason (subs, fringe players getting a run out, Belarus treating the game as most teams do, a chance to beat England, the country that invented the game etc)

All I was suggesting is that they should have played a quality side. Denmark would have been the best option again, this time with the england players giving a toss instead of not being bothered and the danes smelling blood

For a nation that has a shocking ratio of results against sweden, I would have thought playing Denmark, or Norway was a complete must around this time
