We were ok - what more do you expect?

No team ever plays brilliantly in warm-up games and it was our first full international in ages. Given that avoiding injury would have been the priority, I was impressed by the way we got stuck in.

Bobby Robson didn't even know his best team/formation after two bl**dy games of Italia 90 and we still ended up a shoot-out away from the final.

Just as losing to Northern Ireland didn't matter one jot, neither did last night an neither will the Jamaica game. Over-analysis of pointless games drives me mad - the only thing that matters is points and wins in Germany.

We have the players to progress and we WILL get to the QFs at least. After that? it's in the lap of the Gods.
