you are right about the captaincy - I don't think anybody thought

the quiet Drury would make a captain, nor fleming to be honest. Maybe they should have given it to francis?? If that had happened he might have grown into the role with the extra responsibility.

Drury can defend, and isnt often beaton, so at this level he makes up for Huckerby being not the greatest getting back.

Its a shame we have no right side.
