Since when

has an injury to a Norwich player been in any way good news ? Good news to twisted scummers, perhaps. But to anyone who wishes well both for NCFC and the players who grace the shirt, surely there is only sorrow and pity for the lad who would have gone to the World Cup as part of a very good squad.
It is bad news for Green and it clearly hurt. And it hurts the club, because his availability for the start of next season is in question. And, as an aside, his value will have decreased markedly as a result of this injury. GKs with suspect groins don't make big money, and they are not sold to premiership clubs.
