How useful is something when you would need...

To also know the league position of the team.

We already know that top sides overperform xG every season and bottom sides underperform.

How useful is a stat when you don't take into consideration the quality of the team and quality of opposition.
Even with penalties, there are some killer takers who have lifetime 85%+ conversion rates yet will be given 0.75 as standard.
