I was cross examining an investor last year and suggested to him that he was a wealthy man

at the time of the investment

He denied it

I pointed out that he had had a net worth of £17m and suggested that surely he would accept that he was a wealthy man

“Not in my terms”, was his answer

No-one ever really thinks they’re rich.
