If we're purely going for a manager to take us up, then arguably we'll need to release a decent wodge of transfer window cash too.

I reckon we're looking for an appointment that aims for a playoff run this year (signalling a turnaround in fortune), with an eye to properly challenging for autos next, if we don't make it this year.

Which would seem to be consistent with bringing in Wagner or KK.
