What's particularly shocking is that we're not even trying to play out from the back so much anymore. If we we're inviting the press with attempted silky passing at the back, and still getting used to that, then you might expect us to make fatal mistakes more often. But we're not - as Burnley fans enjoyed telling us, we're hoofing it a lot more often. For me, that makes this stat even more damning.
