While we did spend big money on loans (which all turned out to be f**king dire) we also loaned out a number of players who I'm assuming we took a good portion of the wages off the books.
Cantwell, Hugill, McCallum, Sinani, Soto

Even if we estimate 15 M for the loan players.

That leaves basically 20 first team players, some of which were younger players who cant be on much.
Give those 20 and an average of 45K thats just 46M

The top earners have to be in the 60-100K range.
