I expect the chap suggesting Putin was poorly informed is actually pushing the official government narrative now, and the chap from the Military Duma has also been rolled out by the state (unbeknownst to him) as collateral for the blame.

I dont believe any of them are freely expressing themselves.

Putin will turn this into a war against his own generals and advisors, just as our own Boris sacked his in Partygate and Xi Jinping knocked off the Wuhan city bureau after the Covid outbreak.
