our tumbly drier blew up well over a year ago and we haven't replaced it

was going to but was waiting until had a new kitchen/utility recently put in and found that frau T can do without one by using washing line/clothes driers/radiators. before this the bastard thing was on every single day without fail, i know this because it beeps when it's finished for some reason nd it drove me nuts. anyway, she now gets by without one quite happily. not sexist btw just equitable division of responsiblities, e.g. i pick up the dog s**t and take the bins out and so on and so forth.
