Was concerned about how Pukki played too, seemed dejected from the get go (no service, chasing lost causes, but he looked half a yard slow and was crowded out too)

As you've been pointing out too, although Smith seems to have a preferred style it's not clear the players are suited to it, or are building the understanding to deliver it.

All the players have got worse under this management team so far and the ones that have come in and look like providing a spark (onel yesterday - hugill pre season) are the ones who were deemed surplus to requirements last year).

I don't think shuffling managers is an instant answer, but I've seen little from Smith to suggest he was a good move last year or knows what to do this)

Happy to wait and see how the new boys do tho.
