Comments like this are equally as shocking tbf. I think you’ll find that

A lot of British Indians support England and are proud to be British/English. When it comes to cricket they support India. That is a choice. As someone who born and grew up in Norfolk, now lives in London and supports Norwich and wants his children too, I can understand this. There is the whole ‘Yorkshire cricket’ situation to consider as why they may not want to support England as well. I think you will find that lots of British Indians would support England when they play the every other country (apart from India), the younger generation certainly. Just for the record, Mrs DH Yellow is British Indian, so while I am in no way an authority on the subject, I do spend a lot of time with people that are British Indian and understand their values and thinking behind their support for cricket and football.
