We're not in the business of doing what's best for Pukki's career, we're in the business of doing what's best for the club.

What's best for the club is to hang onto him for one more season even if he leaves for free at the end, because (a) he'll get us 20+ goals and (b) no-one will pay us a big enough fee for an ageing player to enable us to buy anyone who can replace those goals.
