Once applied for a patent bitd for an idea to aid road safety

went through the process of presentations to Patent Office etc and their final answer was "no" to my original idea but "yes" if I could get the technology to work under water in an obviously not road safety sense. Sadly, even though I had an idea how that could work, I gave up at that point as I was too busy with balancing family and work life (and being abroad for long periods) but often look back to a wasted opportunity to make that elusive fortune. I've also never looked to see if that opportunity is still there. Too late for me now though.
