If you go to a lot of gas (petrol) stations in the US, instead of having coffee in old style heating carafes they now have a new machine which cuts back on the waste and brews fresh coffee.
It automatically grinds the beans and then brews the coffee automatically giving you a great cup.
Here is a picture of one.
