It’s been rubbish.

That said, I think Bailey’s article was a bit naughty in that he gave some of the dimmer members of our fan base the idea that we could have signed all of those players plus the ones we actually did.

In reality, the budget wasn’t big enough. If we had another £30m for transfers plus the money to cover the wages, we could have done. Not saying it wasn’t a big f**k up, but it might have been if we’d signed the players bailey was talking about, granted it couldn’t have been much worse, but nothing to say it would have been better.

My beef with Webber, and we’ve agreed on this before, is that in sacking Farke he was taking responsibility for the issues as the assertion was that the players were good enough. Evidently that’s a load of s**t, yet he’ll still hide from that.
