If I was the Sporting Director

we would have finished bottom and probably lost 4-0 to a West Ham side suffering the biggest footballing hangover in their history.

Thing is though... I'm not the Sporting Director.

A simple question: what specifically has he done in the last 12 months which is demonstrably better than anything any of us could have done?
