Upside for the investors if it works, but they’ll leave the downside for the club if it goes belly up. They don’t really have any skin in the game, can spend the clubs money and borrow like crazy till someone calls in a loan, at which point they’ll extract any remaining money, fold it up and run.

Call me a happy clapper all you like, but I’m glad we have Delia.
