A mate of mine at school was a scrawny lad, glasses, clumsy, unassuming, bit nerdy looking, handed down clothes. One of a few who of us who attracted the attentions of the year thug. I got off a bit lightly cos I used to go for a fag at lunchtime so could buy my way out with a silk cut.

One day he snapped and handed his arse to him on a plate. Beat the absolute crap out of him in front of the whole year. The bully chap actually became a really decent bloke after that, my mate Joe became legend!
