If you banned the rich owners and limited spending I don't think much would change for us

You'd be swapping who has the richest owner with who has the biggest stadium and attendences.

We'd still be somewhere from the bottom of the Premier League to the top half of the Championship.

The league has nearly always been won by the biggest clubs:
