It's tribal but not necessarily geographical (I've never lived in Norfolk beyond a few months after birth)

Maternal family club in my case. If dad had been into football it'd have been something like Chesterfield or one of the Sheffield clubs (aunt & cousins are Blades)

Based on Geography, I ought to have been something like Gloucester/Cheltenham or one of the Bristol or Birmingham clubs.
