Agree with everything on this thread

We saw a brief flash of what could be in the Prem playing Farkeball in his first season up. But mostly that style of football back fired, and by turning the ball over cheap we gave away more chances than we ever created.

I also think teams work you out really quick in the Prem, and usually have the tools to nullify and dominate. So a whole season of that kind of football is never going to happen unless you’re Man City.

Also, the Prem is getting ever quicker and more physical, and the gap between established teams and newly promoted teams bigger all the time (just look at Palace - I was genuinely impressed with their squad - excellent players). That was also making Farkeball ever harder to achieve.

I think we all wanted it to work, Webber included. But the reality is it just wasn’t going to.
