As exciting and adrenaline filled as a battling avoid-the-drop fight is becoming, I can't help feeling disappointed that we've had to dispense with the beautiful game. We've obviously been spoilt by Farkeball, especially mk1, but it's a bit of a big gear change in style and it's not that pleasant on the eye.

Whilst we're carving out results and picking up points I can accept that it's a necessary evil, but I'm hoping that we don't completely lose touch with the philosophy and can bring some of it back if we somehow manage to stay up and have the opportunity to upskill the team to a point where we can do it competitively at this level.

Probably just me in my dotage, reminiscing about a yellow and green tinted past that maybe never was. Anyway, enough meaningless rambling into the cyber abyss, OTBC
