It's like wine pairing though isn't it?

I have a friend who is a wine connoisseur. He took me to a wine tasting where we had wine, cheese and bits of melon and the like - along with assorted berries. The mix / interaction of the flavours was more complex and more interesting that any single flavour alone.

Anyhow, there is a simple solution. If you don't like cheese with cranberry in then don't buy cheese with cranberry in it.
