they might as well give it to mclaren - his record in cups is good, and all england's competitive games are effectively cup games.
for all the talk of his negativity he does throw 4 strikers on when he needs to and he also brings through young english players and believes in playing with wingers.
don't think it would be a disaster to be honest.
