Those gotos are great for doing quick eyeball 1.0 astronomy.

And that's what most people into the hobby do most of the time to be honest. But they're obviously not much cop for imaging (especially DSOs) because, among other reasons, they just don't have the right mount to be able to track objects in the correct way
