he’s been pushing for a move for some time. It’s easy to forget what an exceptional man manager DF was and if he didn’t play a player it was for a very good reason. DS came in and tried to appease some of the fans and Cantwell by naming him in his first squad. This annoyed me because I felt it was also aimed at undermining Farke (I suspect DS was also swayed by SW). If any fan or DS doubted Farke’s judgement it didn’t take long to be shown he was correct and if anything Cantwell’s performances got worse. No doubt Cantwell I’d technically gifted but quite frankly he’s not somebody I would have much faith with in a relegation fight.
