Yeah - it's unfortunate that he's so hyped

Due to the recognition/Chelsea links.

For me he was a decent squad addition and hasn't downed tools or looked to shirk in a way that would have made the abuse he's getting more understandable (tho no less unforgiveable).

But from a footballing point of view I'd rather we played Dowell in the AMF positions (scored/made goals when he was given a run and fit last year) or Sorenson in the DFM areas.

With the injuries we've got at the minute I'm glad we've got Gilmour, though, even among the Chelsea fans I know they were hoping he'd develop his tackling and break up play here, and I don't think he's brought that on at all.
